Bleeding Edge

Do you like the taste of danger in the morning? We got exactly what you need, daily builds.

Discover the latest features, often undocumented, unstable, and full of surprises. There might be cool bug fixes too, but we do not recommend to use this builds on production environments though. These are automatically built on our servers just like regular stable releases, but instead they use the latest snippets of magic code developers write. Every single day.

With great power comes great responsibility, go grab your daily build at the developers corner.

How do I install Blender?

To install Blender, download the appropriate package for your platform. The Windows version comes with an optional self-extracting installer, for other operating systems you can simply unpack the compressed file to the location of your choice.

Provided the Blender binary is in the original extracted directory, Blender will run straight out of the box. No system libraries or system preferences are altered.
