After the successful trainings of 2012, the Blender Institute is happy to be able to offer more official training courses this year!
With the latest release of Blender 2.65 and upcoming 2.66 there are lots of new tools and techniques and this is the perfect chance to learn them first hand! Participants will work in the main studio, on workstations as used for the latest production: Tears of Steel.

The teachers are selected among Certified Trainers and artists who have worked on Open Movie/Games projects in the Institute. Apart from all digital courses files and examples, the participants will get all the Blender DVDs we've produced in the past year.

We allow a maximum of 8 participants per course, in order to make it a truly personal experience!

LIGHTING AND RENDERING. Blender features an extremely powerful rendering toolset that can be employed for product visualization, architectural rendering, in still images and animation. The flexibility of the rendering pipeline, in combination with the integrated compositor, allows you to achieve a wide range of styles. This training focuses on all the aspects related to creating appealing images with Blender, by mastering its lighting, shading and rendering tools.

INTENSIVE MASTERCLASS. The aim of the training is to allow participants to focus on their area of interest. You will have around 2-3 hours of personal face to face training during the day, plus regular feedback and shared sessions.
Lunch and snacks are provided by the Institute.

We aim at a minimum of 4 subscribers for a course before we will make it final. At minimum three weeks before the courses start you will be contacted with final details, or a suggestion for rescheduling of the course.
