As for last year, we would like to celebrate the conference with an award ceremony, to reward outstanding contributions to Blender during the past year. The awards will be actual 3d statues, based at the renowned Monkey model as built-in in Blender.

For 2004 the awards are for:

 

• Best Artwork
• Best Animation
• Best Python Script
• Best Coding Contribution
• Special Achievement (the BF award)

During the conference all participants will get a voting ballot with the nominees mentioned on it. Saturday October 23, at 7 PM CET the winners will be announced. Winners who are not at the conference will get the reward shipped in a nice box.

All nominees receive a free product of choice from the Blender e-shop.
