This session will showcase the most recent work on the Verse protocol. Eskil Steenberg (SE) will show the latest plug-ins for Verse, Emil Brink (SE) will give demonstrations of "Purple", the computational engine for Verse, and Jiri Hnidek (CZ) will present the results of his Google Summer of Code 2005 project of integrating Verse and Blender.
14:00 - 15:30 Blender & Architecture Session
Presentations on the use of Blender in the field of architecture are featured in this session.
Riccardo Covino (IT) will give an overview of current possibilities for Blender in the architectural world, using real-life case studies. Wybren van Keulen (NL) will give a peek into the every day life of working as a 3D artist at a large architectural firm.
15:30 - 17:00 Mobile Session
Two case studies dealing with making mobile 3D games with Blender will be presented. Sean Wylie-Toal from Bight Interactive (CA) will outline his work using the benteye™ Mobile Game Development System and Blender, while Gerhard Voelkl (DE) will discuss how to write Java games for mobile phones using Blender as a design tool.
17:00 - 18:30 Mixing Virtuality and Reality
Authoring Mixed Reality Applications with Blender
Paul Grimm (DE) will propose how an extended version of Blender can support the development of content-rich Mixed Reality (MR) applications.
