Biography

Eskil Steenberg is a software designer with 15 years of graphics experience. He is the creative force behind the network protocol Verse and has written a range of applications such as the modeller Loq Airou and has been the initiator of the "purple" project. He is experienced within many parts of computer graphics such as game development, postproduction and research.

Workshop: Verse Developers Session

The verse developers session is a relaxed meeting where you get the chance to talk to other verse developers as well as hear about, and see demos of, the latest verse developments. This is an excellent opportunity to ask questions, make suggestions and learn more about verse and the new verse connection in blender. Non-developers are also welcome.

 

Presentation: OpenGL Performance Programming

In this session we will take a look at how to use OpenGL in the correct way to get maximum performance on modern graphics hardware. This session will give guidance on how to prepare for the upcoming OpenGL 3.0 API and how to avoid common pitfalls, in order to make Blender and other applications run faster. This session is of interest to anyone who programs OpenGL.
