Files

- Crash fix: when loading a file with dynamic linked external scene, and that external scene didn't exist anymore, and that scene was active.

- Option "Append to active Layer" now uses real active layer.

- Windows/Unix slash conversion now happens correctly on file reading.

- Using Dynamic Linked files (Libraries) didn't support multiple levels. Now you can link data from file1 via file2 into a file3, etc. Error was from before 2.25 release.

- Bug in 2.36: Import DXF accidentally converted quads to triangles.

- Fixed errors in DXF layers reading

 

Render

- Alpha for halos was always added, even when "Add" slider was zero.

- Wire render didn't give correct rendering for mist.

- Wire render errors for SubSurf and with Mesh "Edges" option

- Wire render now supports 'shaded' render too with Mesh "Edges" option set.

- Object "time" ipo was incorrectly evaluated for Motion Blur and Field render

- Area Light render didn't use Noise dithering correct when there were more Area Lights

- Stars render correct in Environment Maps now

- Environment Maps type "Load" don't need to have an "Ob" (Object) set to render, it then renders applied Environment Maps like reflection maps.

- Environment Maps now don't render with Gauss, was causing black outlines.

- Fixed crashes with use of "DupliVerts" and "DupliFrames" option, when texture coordinate option "Object" was used.

- For certain amount of vertices/faces (like between 261888 and 262144) memory errors happened, due to badly constructed list.

- Fixed 2.36 bug: halos were clipped when center of halo became invisible.

- Fixed math errors for underflows using acos(), caused pixels sometimes to render black.

- Fixed several annoyances with halo render + unified render (faster now too)

- Colorband option didn't correctly compute with 2 entries being exactly on the same spot.

 

Interface

- 3d window background image displays correctly onto the edges when zoomed in extreme

- same for UV image window and sequence preview

- preview render now doesnt disappear, when left part is outside of window

- Pulldown menu File->"Save Image" didn't work when stars were drawn in 3d window

- Made several sub-loops idling nicely (friendly for CPU)

- Fixed annoying "loss of modifier event" error, causing Blender to think a SHIFT/ALT/CTRL was still pressed. Error was in viewmove/rotate, the queue was not emptied nor read...

- OSX: fixed hanging of "Apple" key events.

 

Constraints

- duplicating Objects with constraints now links the copies correctly

 

3D Window

- "Join" and "Convert" Object options crashed when Objects had constraints

- 2.36 bug: in FaceSelect mode, other solid objects didn't show.

- Sometimes when you escape a transform on an object that is the target of an IK constraint on an armature bone, the rotations were not restored correctly on the bones in the IK chain.

- Quat XYZW was mixed up in NKey panel for Armature

- Disabled error handling in decimator code, which caused Blender to quit on errors.

 

IpoWindow

- Pressing AKEY in channel buttons (names) of IpoWindow now shows all or hide all again.

 

File Window

- Restored column display for files

- FileWindow didnt sort the dirs "." and ".." correctly.

- Fixed memory leak in using file lists.

- File sizes larger than 4 GB didn't display correctly

- OSX: now prints correct statistics in header as well.

- Removed frontbuffer updating in FileWindow. Not only fixes annoyances on graphics cards (ATIs mostly) but solves drawing errors of highlights while scrolling. Especially apparant in 'animated UI mode'.

 

Mesh Edit

- Knife tool and Loop Cut now preserve UV coordinates correctly.

- A series of hide/reveil commands didn't result in identical selection always.

- "Beauty Fill" now respects FGon settings

- On extrude, a better heuristic was coded to deliver correct normals.

- Lasso select now supports concave (C shaped) polygons.

 

Curve Edit:

- Auto Handles on Bezier (shows yellow) now gives perfect circles.

 

Translations

- Polish updated

 

Yafray export:

- Fixed errors in conversion of deformed meshes.

- Parented linked data lamps made the export crash.

- Solved endian issues for vertex colors
