David Hickson (dipingo) is a freelance artist/teacher and the founder of Blenducation.com, Blender’s first exclusive remote learning site. David holds degrees in Graphic design and Business. His background covers traditional sculpture and painting and is enhanced by his digital art and business degree. This unique skill set provides a complimentary balance of expertise needed to make any project a reality.

David also offers training, consulting and freelance contract work in both 3D and 2D digital art. His current client’s needs range from organic modeling to architectural renderings and real time models.  Recently, David has been doing consulting for larger studios and industry specific customers in need of cutting their production costs without sacrificing quality.

His first love is his family and wonderful wife. His second passion is helping others reach their full potential in the realm of 3D graphics through the use of pioneering, online conferencing tools and his affiliations with Blender’s highest skilled artists. He believes in bringing the classroom to his students and making learning fun.
