The BFCT program will be overseen by a small panel of ten people. This panel will be in charge of approving and rejecting certification applications. This panel will also be responsible for future modifications to this certification program and the development of all other Blender certification programs that may be of interest in the future.
The panel consists of members of the bf-education group, and will be established based on consensis of all bf-education members.

Benjamin Hodges is an anthropologist and new media artist. In his research, he studies the emergent cultures around open source software, 3d animation, and pop culture. As an educator and consultant, Dr. Hodges regularly lectures on the potential of an open source work flow. In addition to this academic work, Dr. Hodges is also a blender artist keenly interested in the convergence of the virtual and the real. Jason van Gumster is a co-owner and "Production Monkey" for Hand Turkey Studios, a small animation, illustration, and print design company based in Richmond, Virginia. A Blender user since 1998, Jason has given numerous live demonstrations and workshops on Blender as well as advanced video tutorials released by cmiVFX.

Rui Campos is a full-time web developer and has been with the Blender Community since 2004. As member of the bf-education team he collaborated for the growth of Blender Training, having done several workshops around Europe. Most recently was part of the TOSMI Project in Bulgaria (www.tosmi.org).

Theodore Dounas is an Architect Engineer, an academic researcher and teacher. He has professional experience in architectural design and research experience with computation in architecture. His professional and academic work has been awarded numerous times in competitions and conferences. In his academic research he uses blender to built generative systems and methods for architecture and design, while he teaches animation with blender at the TOSMI project (www.tosmi.org) and at www.papiotis-draw.gr

Tony Mullen is a longtime Blender user and teacher. He currently teaches several Blender-related classes to computer science students at Tsuda College in Tokyo, Japan. He is the author of the books Introducing Character Animation with Blender and Bounce, Tumble, and Splash: Simulating the Physical World with Blender 3D.

Dolf Veenvliet has been working with Blender since 2000. He has a degree in monumental art, and worked in broadcasting for 5 years. He currently works as a part time web developer. The remainder of his time is divided between, Blender related productions, python scripting tools, and teaching Blender/CG.

Roland Hess has been working with computer graphics for over twenty-five years. The editor and lead author for "The Essential Blender" and the author of the "Creating Short Animations from Start to Finish", he is committed to providing excellent Blender education to artists around the world. In addition to being an artist himself and a member of Blender's development team, he also heads up the BlenderPeople open source crowd simulation project.

Sanu Vamanchery Mana is a 3D artist from India with over 8 years of experience in the field of Animation, Gaming and special effects and Senior Faculty of Multimedia in Universitas Nurtanio, Indonesia. Now doing the research in Making open source multimedia tools in the production. He also used open source tools for Graphics in Advertisements.

Tom Musgrove, better known as LetterRip to much of the Blender community, has been a volunteer on Blender since early 2004. His involvement is primarily in helping do project and release management, and as Blenders 'marketing and PR guy'. He also occasionally codes and is one of the comaintainers of the python scripts. His other involvement with Blender is in recruiting new developers (and writers, and translators) into the project; and helping with long term planning. Tom contributed the sculpt chapters to 'The Essential Blender' book, usually plays a significant role in creating Blenders release notes, and is an occasional contributor to Blender Nation. When not obsessing about Blender, Tom is a student, a writer, a researcher, and an Alaskan fisherman.
