At first look Blender can be very intimidating. So many buttons, too many for you to figure out what they all do on your own, trust me, I know... I tried. So I'd like to personally welcome you to the Blender Quickstart page. This page is designed to highlight some of our beginner tutorials to help get you started with modeling and even animating in Blender. We cover just about any topic you can think of in our database of tutorials, and we're constantly adding even more (just to keep you from getting bored, of course). The one thing you should know is that you can never have read ALL the tutorials out there, because just when you think you have the developers add even more features into an already great program. So, what are you waiting for? Read on...
We keep a huge collection of Tutorials here at Blender.org, and links to even more tutorials that are not on our server. If you're just getting started with Blender, you might like to check out the Getting Started tutorials. On our wiki tutorial site, we have tutorials that cover using Blender across the entire animation production workflow.
The Blender Foundation published several books on Blender, and since 2005 many other publishers have made Blender books available.
The Blender E-Shop also several books, training DVDs and downloadables available for anyone who is interested. Profits from the Blender e-shop all benefit Blender projects!
There is a whole internet out there! We don't have every Blender tutorial ever made on this site, but we do have a lot of them. If you're thinking you can't find what you want here, check with Google. It's always a good place to start looking for something you have trouble finding.
