You should go to User's Preferences -> System
Then just choose your graphic card as a primary element:

I would like to use my GPU for rendering as well but when I change my compute device to my graphics card there is no difference. Is there a bug in it?
Im using blender 2.62

My specs are:
AMD FX 6100 3.3 GHz
OS: Win 7
Video Card: AMD RAdeon HD 6570
Open GL: 6.14.10.11931
Blender simply crashes whenever I try GPU rendering. Any suggestions are appreciated. A list of supported video cards might be helpful.
