Hi,
I'm new to modelling so please bear with me! I need to create a model of a traditional sardine tin; a cubic shape with rounded corners. Is there an easy way to round the corners on a cube please?
Thanks
Sam

You can probably do this in blender somehow, but for me it's easier to create the shape externally (InkScape):

Hello,
2 methods :
1) Edit mode
Select all edges
Add modifier bevel
Select proper width = w
Set object to Smooth
For a less crude effect :
Add a second modifier bevel with width = w/2
2) Add modifier subdivision surface
Edit mode
Then use Loop Cut and slide several times moving the loop line down towards a face, leaving some space between the loop line and a face for the rounded effect (I saw this on a
video).

CoDEmanX - I have converted the curves in the file you gave me in to a mesh so that I can build it up to include lips at the top and bottom, but it creates a really complex top face - I need this to join in to one single face, but cannot get it to do this; any ideas please?

Actually ignore me; I revisited the original file that you sent me and it's not a problem; I'd done something weird to it! Ta

I have previously entered a link that is no longer in use.
Here you can find information on how to create a cube with rounded corners as a starting point.
Hope this helps
