Hello everyone. This is my first post, and may very well be out from left field, but I hope one of you could answer it, or point me in the right direction.
What I'm wondering is if there is a way to record (for lack of better word) ray data through an invisible plane during a render, and generate in a sense a sort of bitmap (or "raymap") that contains ray vector and color data rather than pixel data?
