I'm trying to run an example from Thomas Larsson "Code snippets. Introduction to Python scripting for Blender 2.5x" by copying the contents of the .py file (armature.py) to a Text window in Blender and hitting Run Script. I'm getting a 'Python script fail, look in the console for now', but I also have a Python console window open, and there is nothing appearing in there.

Is this not the console it means? If not, where do I find the error?

I'm running Blender 2.64, with Python 2.7 on Windows 7 (64-bit)

go to menu Window > Toggle System Console and check the error message!
