Blender game physics - In normal render mode

Hi everyone,

I am quite new to blender and starting to get the hang of it.

I like the physics engine in "blender game" mode but is there a plugin to use this functionality in the normal "blender render" mode?

It would be nice to have this as a modifier instead of baked key frames.

Is this a feature that is planned for the future?

Sorry if this has been discussed before. :?

Thanks for the amazing software and I hope that in the future I can offer my skills in the project. (Need just a bit more experience with Linux)
