I'm working on a new animation project. I've been using Blender for a few years now, but I only do still images work. So this is a lengthy video and was wondering if you could animate on separate timelines. For instance, if I have a cat and a dog in my scene, I could animate them together, however the timeline would get messy with keyframes. If I could split that work up and animate the dog on one timeline, and the cat on a separate timeline, that would make each timeline cleaner and make a clear distinction about which keyframes are for which animal.
