I'm using RedHat 9 for quite a time, but recently noticed that Blender 226, gets "holes" in the windows. I mean that when passing with the cursor over certains elements of the GUI makes them really screw The text of the menus gets unintelligible, and the "canvas" gets blue "holes".
Is it because they'we chnaged the "default"cursor cheme for X? (Now it got kinda shadow)
Thanks a lot!

Yeah, I got the same problem yesterday using Blender 2.28 on my Gentoo Linux. I found that if I turn off the cursor shadow (going back to the 'default' cursor in XFree, without any changes), that 'holes' problem dissapears.
To do that, I only had to rename the index.theme file in /usr/share/cursors/xfree/default/ to index.theme~
I hope this helps.
