is it possible to edit ipo curves for more than one bone at a time ?

Just PIN the IPO block to the window.

Also, if you're just interested in adjusting the handles,
you can select the keys for many bones at once in the action
window and use HKEY, shift-KEY and VKEY to adjust
them like you would in the IPO window.
