Simple camera tracking

Postby bumper314 » Mon Dec 22, 2003 6:35 am

Hello All,

I have been a long time user of blender, I own the 2.0 manual, but I still cant solve a simple camera-object tracking problem.

I have a camera following a path, and need the camera to track an object (empty or otherwise), but the camera always turns the wrong direction after setting the tracking (ctrl-T) and I cant rotate it to correct it.

I am frustrated to tears right now, so any help is appreciated.

Regards,
Steve

Select the camera, go to the Object settings (F7) and select the correct Track and Up axis in the constraint settings for you TrackTo constraint.

Many many thanks. Is this on any documentation that I should be aware of?

Regards,
Steve
