rendering in passes

Postby alltaken » Thu Jan 29, 2004 2:41 am

does anyone know when this will be implimented at all.

i have heard talk about it.

passes such as

background
shadow only (e.g. GI white only materials with shadow only)
colour without any shading and such
spec
...
...

those ones are really the ones i need. and doing them all manually is a joke, anyway i was wondering if anyone was working on it.

layers UI???

i personally think it should be a render option. render in layers, to output to XCF file or PSD layered file.
