bf-blender / Linux glibc 2.3 (2004/04/02)

Postby jesterKing » Fri Apr 02, 2004 4:05 pm

A new CVS build is available from:

http://www.letwory.net/cvsbuilds/bf_blender_linux_libc2_3_dynamic_20040402.tar.gz

See http://www.blender3d.org/cms/Changes_since_2_32.66.0.html

There is a speedup commit from alien-xmp (and some other gameengine related commits).

To get the Actor button: set physics to Sumo in the world material settings.

Hello,

I can't launch this build. Blender complains about some missing libs (openAL and some others). 2.32 works fine on my system (slackware 9.0)

I've had the same problem, I had to install the libopenal0 package (easy on a debian system, but I'm sure some googling will help), it's some kind of a 3d sound library as I understand.

Yah, you need to install OpenAL. Sorry, forgot to mention that :]
