I'm a complete newbie to Blender and this is my first post here... don't be too hard on me if I sound stupid Razz

I've been searching everywhere for some way to export from Blender to 3dsmax format and the closest thing that I found was a python script on freshmeat.net that was supposed to export to .ase, which 3dsmax can import. The only problem is, the script didn't work Sad.

So, is there any way to export a mesh from Blender to 3d studio max?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Max can read DXF files... just save a DXF of the mesh and then import into Max.

Saving as DXF worked, the only problem I had was that I had three meshes forming one object, but still separate meshes. Saving to DXF moved them away from each other, would making the object into a single mesh fix this? If so, how do I do this?

Thanks for the quick reply.

Are there any error-messages in the console/DOS-Window? Did you try the script with an older blender version (2.23?)
