Curvedeform/Hooks Animation

Postby Crawl » Wed Dec 01, 2004 4:57 pm

Hi, iam working on my first short animation.
I want to make a tentacle like the ones form Doc Ock in Spiderman 2.
Its not really the same but its the same principle. I've tried to animate the tentacle with Curvedeform and Hooks.
Everything seems to be fine in the viewport, but when i press F12 the output is a frame which doesnt excist anymore. Its always the same - no matter which frame number iam rendering.

My question: WHY?

.Blend file

PS: sorry if my english isnt very well

i already thought that this could be a bug. very strange :?

EDIT: ive found a way how to manage it. I dont use hooks anymoe and animate the curve points directly by curve-keys.

thanks to Haunt_House from #blenderchat
