chat icon export models to 3ds max

Hello

I´m working in a proyect and the model were made in bleder,but the riging and the animation must be done in 3ds max,i would like to export the meshes of the caracters for riging in max,do you know how can i do that thing?

There are several formats that you can try, none of which work perfectly. I think that currently the best interchange format is FBX. Other formats to try are 3ds, dae (collada), and ase

In general though this is one of the weak points of 3d assets. There is no real strong standard yet, like there is for images for instance. Hopefully over the coming years 3d asset fileformats will be consolidated into a few that are really well supported. Like Jpeg is for images for instance.

Collada seems to be going that way but it is far from perfect.

i really try all formats available in blender export menu,but have problems
when i import in max,for example the biped dont work .

Well Biped is something that only max has. I think you can forget about interchanging bipeds between max and blender.

i want to model mi caracters in blender and import in max for rig ,in really is it imposible?

No thats possible... I thought you wanted to model and rig in blender and send it to max.

So what is the problem in modeling in blender and sending just the model over?

the problem is ,when i export the mesh to max,the caracter ready for rig,i add a biped and i pose the biped,leter emparent the com (center of mass) to the mesh and dont work,but when is a mesh modeled i max it works at first, what i need is tha max see the mesh imported like if were made in max and is becaseim in a course that is focus to max,but in blender is the most i like to model,i make in blender in 1 hour what i make in max in 3,animate in max and rig dont give me problems. Confused
