Well, since I can't seem to find a section on the forums for suggestions regarding Blender 2.5 (and eventually 2.6?) I guess I'll post here.

First of all, loving the revamped UI. So much easier to use than 2.49 especially if you're used to something like 3Ds Max or Maya.

Anyways as for my suggestion. Would it be possible to add an option to see the polygon count?

on the top right of your blender screen (info bar , with file add render help on the left side) you can show Ve : Vertices Fa like FACES , Ob like objects followed respectively by the quantity
