I already have the appropriate tools for importing source models and animations, but I'd like to know if anyone can help me port source maps/levels into blender, like in the video.

The only way I know is to use the SourceSDK map editor Hammer
, with the Propper
tool to render maps (or pieces of them) as SMD. Then import those with the Source SMD Tools
I used that technique to help a mapper with some custom models.
He sent a chunk of the map to me, so I could scale my model correctly to fit his room.
