A flashlight

Postby Arore » Thu Nov 17, 2011 7:17 pm

I am trying to make a flash light, and though I have seen it in other blender games and film, is there a way i can link the Spotlight to the Mesh itself? After tedious hours of trying to find out, I have gotten nowhere. Andy help would be greatly appreciated :)

I would either parent the spotlight to the mesh or use indirect lighting.

With the new Cycles renderer, you could assign an emissive material to the mesh itself.
