I'm using Blender 2.62 on Linux and am newbie ...

I hide an object for 100 frames and then unhide it using the eye icon in the outliner and inserting a key frame. All good. Alt-A shows the animation doing exactly what I want. Object appears at frame 101 ...fine.

But on the full render, the object is always visible. Am I missing something?

there are two separate properties:

Object.hide
Object.hide_render
