I have just started programming in python form withing blender and I have noticed that errors in python code SOMETIMES crash blender.
Is there a way around this?
Its not too bad in linux because you just start blender again but in win2k blender takes about 2m to close after a crash.
Does anybody have a workaround?
I haven't played around with many python scripts lately.
Is it repeatable with the same script?
If so could you post one thats giving you problems...
Also what version of blender are you using with it...
It heppens quite frequently and often because of syntax errors.
you could try doing a
print 2 / 0
Sometimes this crashes blender, other times not.
I know devide by zero is BAD but it should still never crash blender (just the script).
