Newbie here just stated this weekend, in using the add curve, bezier curve all I see is the gizmo. when I go into edit mode I can see the straight lines for manipulating the curve and the arrows but that's it. All user pref are default and none of the videos I've watched on this and reading docs address this. I noticed simular result when using add tree.
