Hello,
I hope this is the wright place to ask for help, so here it goes. I would like to export a mesh to ogre file format, and I do not see the the export > ogreXML button in the menu.
I am using Blender 2.61 on ArchLinux.
I think i have installed the ogre exporter script as it was shown on the ogre site.
| Code: |
zidar@myhost ~ $ ls -l .blender/scripts/
total 88

I am sorry to have to ask this, but I can't find anthing useful on the ogre site. I have Blender, ogre and Python installed and I can not get the script to show a button no matter what i try.
I would really appreciate it if anyone could offer some helpful advice or a solution to my problem. Thank you.[/code]

The new version of the exporter can be found here:
http://code.google.com/p/blender2ogre/
Copy the script to your scripts directory.
Enable it by going to the user preferences, then Export, then checking the box beside the export to ogre.
You can then use "file"->"Export".
You'll need the ogre command line tools to convert the xml mesh to a ".mesh" file.
