How to use UV in Blender 2.42

Hi all,

I'm not a new blender user but i'm having a problem with the new version. Before i used Blender 2.39.

I tried to use UV mapping in Blender 2.42 but i can't change the uv calculations:

There's nothing here that can change the way uv mapping works on a model (at least not that i know of). In the older versions of blender, there used to be buttons like "from screen", "standard" etc.

Can anyone help?

in face select mode, with some faces selected you hit U to uv map the selected faces... It pops up the menu you describe...

... it's always worked something like that

it's better to have a separate panel though...
