I'm new and want to know how can i render with 3delight in blender226? any suggestion?

are you on mac or pc?

on mac there is a version which delivers you 3delighter a gui for execuing all 3delight functions like render or shader info.


in case you are on linux or pc there is a similar tool as well tk man is the name as far as i know.

in general you have to enter the command for render or shaderinfo or what ever into the command line following with the file to process.
thats all. render test.rib is an example. look into the manual there is all written down.

well and than you have to provide 3delight also a working rib.

I mean how can i export .blender to .rib which 3delight can understand?
I use winxp professional. 3delight beta1.0.3, blender 2.26

ok get the current tuhopuu release it has the renderman export function inside. 2.26 does NOT have it!
