Yeah, the blender developers have COMPLETELY ignored the problems with running blender on MacBooks with OSX 10.5; is the Apricot game going to be just as useless and unsupported?
Are the blender developers EVER going to acknowledge this problem?!?!
Why aren't you in an apple forum complaining? It is entirely apples fault that they have shipped leopard with broken opengl drivers.
We have not ignored anything, we have confirmed that is something that is caused by apple and not by Blender, and so there is nothing that can be done by us.
If you are serious about the issue
1) file a bug report with apple
2) complain in every apple related forum and tell people that they should avoid leopard due to the broken drivers. Encourage every mac blender user to do the same.
3) return leopard due to it being broken. encourage others to do so as well.
Corporations have bug fixing priority based on their expected utility of doing so - if having a buggy driver were resulting in reduced leopard/hardware sales or customer complaints then it will get fixed.
Your lack of complaints to apple and your posting complaints here doesn't benefit you or us, it just wastes both of our time.

Does anyone read all posts before they post on a thread?? Honestly people, blender cannot do anything from this point, it's Apple's issue, so don't call one of the best programs out there, which no one will pay for I might add, ignorant or dumb especially for apple's mistake. People who make such statements are the ones sounding ignorant. Furthermore, this an open source program, I'm not sure if someone who claims what you have would know this, but that means you can edit the source code yourself if you think it's fixable client-side.
