Joining Objects

Postby KammylandSoftware » Mon Apr 27, 2009 12:59 am

Hello,

Is there a way to join multiple objects together so they are actually perceived as one object henceforth? I need it to work so that any sort of modification, whether a materials, rotation, translation or other kind of change, would apply to the entire newly made object.

I tried using Groups, but that did not seem to work. Also, setting up a Parent to Children relationship won't work, as all the objects are on the same level, if you will. The individual objects are all rectangles of sorts.
Warm Regards,

Select both objects. Hit 'Ctrl + J' then click "Join selected meshes".
