I am new to blender, but when editing and object i find it really hard to see the cross-hair curser it allmost blends in with the back ground of the blender screen. im useing blender 2.27 in OS X.

Yup, you are correct, it is hard to see.

OSX 2.27 Here as well.

I get that to, actually. Win2K tho.

Isn't this something that would be really easy to fix for someone who knows in which file to look? Ideally one should have a thicker black crosshair with a thin white one inside.

I just changed my system precision select cursor in the mouse properties in the control panel (win95), in 98 the cursor is reasonable, and the same is true in linux.

I don't see why blender would use non-standard cursors where it wouldn't need to. And it doesn't seem to either.
