Some sites; gnomedesktop.org osnews.com etc. allow you to view all the headlines in a mozilla tab in mozillas sidebar.

I really like this.

Ok, I did a little research and found there's a way you can view do it, although it's not that pretty looking. Postnuke (the content management system that blender.org uses) automatically creates an RSS newsfeed at http://www.blender.org/backend.php . If you enter this into the text entry at this useful site: http://www.theonering.net/staff/corvar/cgi-bin/sidebar-inst.pl , then it will install it as a Mozilla sidebar!
