Hi,
this functionality will be added to Blender 2.28. It's not available in the current or prior versions of Blender.

I have a similar issue withe the Vertices in polygon meshes and knots in NURBS surfaces. I understand that they are not available to my python scripts.
Ae there any plans for changing that?
Terriffic news BTW about the bones!

Hi,
a NURBS module is not planned for 2.28.
Our current focus is getting the new Python API stable. Most of the functionality is implemented and a couple of new modules are added.
Hrm, maybe I should give another overview of the Python status in an article

That would be a pretty good idea - feel free to send through an update using the 'Submit News' link. I can format it nicely like the last one.
