Hi guys,

I'm pretty new to blender, me and my internet buddy are building a game in Unity.

It feels great to turn idea's from paper into real stuff, check the screen.

My actual question now is, how do I put more detail into it ?
I've seen the tutorial about the box. It shows how to bake a high poly mesh onto a low poly mesh

http://cgcookie.com/blender/2009/11/21/exporting-a-lowpoly-model-to-unity-3d/

Should I copy this mesh and sculpt details into it ?

I'd like to bake details onto it from a high poly mesh but i'm kind of lost.

How to proceed from here Sad ?

Hi Lexe,

Do you use Gimp? If so, you can download the Gimp normal map generator plug in : http://code.google.com/p/gimp-normalmap/

This allows you to turn any texture into a normal map.

I have played around with baking, but for what I do the Gimp method seems to work best for me.

Cheers!
