I have a problem with blender2.27
My macine is an amd athlon thunderbird 1400mhz with 256mb sdram and has a Radeon 8500, the problem is that Blender is very slow (almoust like running a 486) I think is Win 98, because I had winxp before and it worked fine, but I was forced to use Win98se, and now it is slow.
Do some one know what i can do about it?

Have you updated your Radeon drivers (from ati.com) ?

Jup I got the 3.2 catalyst

I think you have an OpenGL problem.
Try changing the colour depth on you display settings
and/or turning off hardware acceleration in your graphics card.
I had this happen to me awhile back and it turned out to be a program I had loaded had overwritten the Windows OpenGL drivers.

I tried to, but it did not help, then I Downed The new catalyst 3.6 and Direct x 9.0.
now it works

but when I render it frezzes blender, don't know why?

Think I shall get XP again, or Linux?
