flag image on both sides

HI'
I'm working on a flag and having trouble getting the image on both sides of a plane. I'm using the latest 2.5
If any could help or direct me to a tutorial

I think it’s best to think of a plane as being only an infinitely thin surface, not a physical object. If you want to create a flag with two sides, try starting with a cube mesh and making it very thin in one dimension (small, but not zero thickness). That will give you a physical object with two actual sides (plus those thin edge-on ones).

but I thought I saw some time, when I was fooling with uvs, I had an image on both sides at some point some time
