I was curious if anyone knew of any other methods to create a 3D model of a face from pictures (reference images). Kinda like what is shown here:

Also, using the youtube technique, I am having problems pulling out the lines from the right view. The lines end up getting crossed and make the 3D face look sharp and jagged. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Thanks!

I've seen a different technique done totally in sculpt mode. For me personally it would be easier to draw the face out on paper and sculpt it in this mode as if using modeling clay with my hands, but I am a more hands-on person.
