Hi all, ive been searching, but I cant find anything on this topic.

I am using Blender to do 3D modeling for my Final Major Project in college.

At college I work in a Mac sweet and have Blender installed there, I also have Blender at home and I was planning to take the .blend file home in the evenings to work on it at home as well.

But unfortunatly I was not able to open the .blend file at home on my Windows PC.

I have also tried to export my Mac Blender file as a .dae file, but I was not able to open it from the Mac that I had just exported it from.

Can anyone help me understand how to take my file between the two platforms? I would really appreciate help, this is an important project!

Ah, it works now, maybe on my first atempt there was an error when saving the file
