Okay, so I just began getting into Blender and have run into my first problem. How would you make the section above the left wing look better. The mesh looks normal when shaded flat but when shaded smooth is on it has a weird looking patch. What happened was that I accidently deleted those faces so had to remake them. Don't know why it looks so weird
Just go into edit mode and press ctrl+N (Recalculate normals).
Now it might be fixed.For further smoothening, you can go for a Modifier called Subdivision surface in the modifiers menu.
