I need help with getting my camera to move around a game environment I want to make. I only want a simple Floating camera but I'm not sure how to start. Any help would be appreciated... thank you

I would first recommend taking the exact same post and post it back into the game section of the blenderartist forum : http://blenderartists.org/forum/forumdi ... Discussion

Blender artist is more lively and more aimed toward that kind of question. This forum is more for the technical and development side of Blender.

Second, I would parent the camera to your mesh so that is will always be visible or use a camera actuator. David ward made a great tutorial on the blender game engine and he is using the second technique. http://cgcookie.com/blender/2010/05/13/ ... er-part-1/ I do not remember in which part he did it however.

But a camera is something really tricky to do and other people on blender artist might be more qualified to answer you question than me.

Have a great day!
