Hi,
I've just download new verision of blender with cycles (260.3) and i cant change unit for rendering from CPU to GPU. I dont have that choice. What i have is CPU or OpenCL GPU.
The memo I get when trying to switch to OpenCL GPU is:
Failed loading render kernel, see console for errors.
But there is nothing about that error...
Ive got GeForce GTX 550Ti so it should work.
Can u help me with that one?
Regards

I found the console was showing OpenCL build errors. I installed a build cuda + openCL. Good luck

snaron,
You need to make sure the build you got has cuda enabled otherwise
it won't allow you to switch to gpu rendering. Also, the number of
video cards supported is pretty small right now so it still might not work for you. I'm guessing your card works however you do not have a cuda enabled cycles build.

im not very sure for Windows build but maybe you need to install the CUDA toolkit as well.
