i have tried several tutorials on how to make chrome effects, namely from reblended and elysiun but have so far been unsuccessful in creating any effective chrome effects.

when i try their tutorials the chromes arent visible and the object remains dull, when i try to "chromify" my own blender objects such as two spheres they still appear dull and reflectionless.

any ideas or help to overcome this problem i have?
