Will this website be avalible for other opensource blender projects? I am working on a python script that I intend to opensource when I have developed it into a near beta stage. Will this website be open for projects like that?

At least that was planned. (See http://www.blender3d.org/blenderdotorg.html .) Currently, it also is goal 2 (see home page of blender.org at the right-hand side). But since setting up everything is a lot of work, these forums are here to discuss and to get your desires heard about what should be done next by the webmasters.
