We have created a custom pipeline (managing our LAN renderfarm and more) for our business which is based on LightWave3D. As you may know LightWave3D runs SingleThreaded EXE called ScreamerNet, which is controlled via two text files.
We wish to incorporate Blender into our setup, but we keep having problems compiling Blender sources for Windows X86 and X64.
If anyone has a a Blender solution for VS2008 or even MSVC++6.0 and could pass it to us in some way we would feel much obliged.
Alternatively, I could provide our own version of the main function for the blenderNET.exe and you could compile it for us?
Best to avoid trying to compile Blender for yourself on Windows, get a prebuilt binary from graphicall.org instead. Windows is a hostile place for doing Free Software development.
