Is it possible to import excel data into Blender? So that you can make 3d graphics? Excel can export to xml. Does Blender can import those files and transform them into 3d?

Thank you

Python has a module for reading comma separated values (CSV) files. Another option is to convert your data into one of the many formants Blender can handle.

My question is: How is the procedure to import the data? I am a beginner, but I do have some experience on other programs such as Google Sketchup and Metasequoia, but I never actually did import any data before (I normally draw it out). Can you help?
