Hi all,
I'm in the process of evaluating Blender for our games company (a v. large derby based one), and one thing that gets raised from feedback is that, when in GLSL textured mode, there is no back face culling. I understand the reasons why (the renderer doesnt do it, so glsl shows you what you render), but it would be a great thing to have a system option to allow face culling in the viewport, controlled at a material level by an single sided tick box or something.
I thought I'd raise this, as I've had to do a custom build with this in, but it would be better in the main branch.

thanks for your time

yeah.. unfortunately at the moment I've plugged into the Materials zoffs property to get it all working, but I cant seem to figure out how to get at the gamesettings.use_backface_culling checkbox status (this would be the ideal setting to use), but this isnt in the mat->game struct. :0/
I'll keep digging.
